
The Montana Heritage Center is located at 225 North Roberts Street in Helena, Montana, just steps away from the state Capitol Building. The Heritage Center is home to the Montana Historical Society, and contains a world-class museum, library & archives, cafe, gift shop, and more.

Explore the Society's collection of books, photographs, maps, newspapers, and more at the Larry Len and LeAnne Peterson Library and Archives.

The Gift Shop offers a wide selection of books, souvenirs, and unique gifts made right here in the Treasure State. Visit us in person at the Heritage Center, or shop online at the link below.

Norm's Cafe operated by The Dive Bakery offers a selection of baked goods, sandwiches, coffee, and more--perfect for fueling up before or after you explore our museum galleries.

Located just steps away from the Montana Heritage Center, The Capitol building is open Monday – Friday, 7 AM - 6 PM, and weekends, 9:30 AM. - 3 PM, and is home to several items from our Museum collection.
