2025 marks the 53rd year of the Friends of the Society volunteer organization.

The Montana Historical Society welcomes and relies on the contributions of a wide range of volunteers. Volunteers contribute in a variety of ways: serving as docents; helping with receptions; historic buildings; transcribing oral histories; and providing administrative office assistance for many programs. 

At this time, we are not accepting new volunteers.
