Multiple Property Documentation is a cover document used by the National Register of Historic Places to organize and evaluate groups of thematically related historic properties. It is not a nomination in its own right, but rather an umbrella document that streamlines the listing process.

The Multiple Property Documentation form (MPD) groups related properties based on a shared theme (e.g., historic post offices, airway beacons, or fire lookouts. An MPD acts as an evaluation tool by outlining three key elements: Historic Context, Property Types, and Registration Requirements. Because the historical context and significance are already established in the cover document, nominating an individual property that fits the theme requires significantly less research.
